Nylon fibers are roughly divided into two types, nylon 6 and nylon 66, commonly known as single 6 and double 6 filaments. There are many domestic manufacturers of single 6 filaments, their uses are also relatively wide, and the price is relatively low. Because one of the main ingredients of the raw material of nylon 66 filament is still blank in China, the cost is relatively high, and the price is high. The difference between single 6 and double 6 is that 66 material has relatively high heat resistance and wear resistance. There is not much difference between the two in terms of tensile strength. Therefore, the double 6 material is generally used for ropes with higher technical requirements, such as starter rope (a kind of rope used for starting small general machinery), climbing rope, safety rope, traction rope, industrial hoisting rope and so on.
