Introduction of Tiger Rope
Tiger Rope is a composite rope with a nylon core and polyester outer layer. This combination makes Tiger Rope stronger than 100% nylon or 100% polyester rope. This kind of rope has good abrasion resistance and is comfortable to hold, suitable for hand rope or general purpose.
Braided nylon rope
Although the early nylon rope is better than the rope made of natural fiber, it is very hard, causing a lot of friction, and it is very inconvenient to use because of its good elasticity. The nylon ropes were gradually replaced by woven nylon ropes, which are synthetic fiber ropes specially designed for climbing. Modern braided nylon rope is divided into a core thread and a rope sheath. The core thread in the middle is a nylon thread that is parallel or braided, which provides most of the tensile strength and cushioning effect. The outer layer is covered with a smooth woven nylon rope sheath, the main function is to protect the core of the rope. The braided nylon rope retains the characteristics of the nylon rope and removes the shortcomings of the nylon rope roughness, excessive friction, and good elasticity. The braided nylon rope is currently the only climbing rope approved by the International Mountaineering Association (UIAA). The composition of the rope, the rope skin (braid), the rope core (twisted), the power distribution is about one-third of the rope skin and two-thirds of the rope core. The rope skin is rough, relatively thick, and the weight will increase, and it will be more wear-resistant; the rope skin is relatively smooth, relatively thin, lightweight, and not wear-resistant. Choose the more suitable rope according to the situation.
